AI Music EDM
EDM is electronic music made for dancing: steady four-on-the-floor beats, a build-up, then a drop. Lyrics are usually short.
2 songs. Create one like this.
MuziAI's EDM section has two AI-sung sample songs: “Đêm Hội Pháo Hoa” (Vietnamese lyrics) and “Festival Lights” (English lyrics). Both use a female voice, the Energetic mood, the key of F minor and exactly 128 BPM. The takeaway: EDM on MuziAI means a 128 BPM track in F minor with more bars than any genre except rock and metal (median 114), always breaking for 8-bar instrumental interludes after its choruses. These figures describe MuziAI's samples, not the rules of electronic dance music.
Measured profile
Key, tempo, bar counts and chords come from the sheet music the singing model writes for itself before singing. The comparison column is rock (3 songs), the other genre that lives around 128 BPM.

128 BPM is the creator's “Fast” setting. The library's 58 samples use only six tempos, and 128 is the third most common (8 songs, after 72 and 100). The high bar count follows directly from the tempo: at 128 BPM a 4/4 bar lasts about 1.9 seconds, so 212 seconds holds roughly 114 bars. Funk/disco at 126 BPM, nearly the same speed, has only 86 bars because its songs are shorter (164 seconds). Both EDM and rock also cluster on one key: EDM is in F minor in 2 of 2 songs, rock in D-sharp minor in 2 of 3.
How MuziAI builds this genre
Picking EDM adds “EDM, electronic dance, synth leads, big drop, four-on-the-floor beat” to the style prompt: dance-oriented electronic music, a synth carrying the lead line, a big drop and a steady kick on every beat. Both samples share the same extra choices: Energetic mood (energetic, driving, exciting), Synth, Build up before the chorus, Layered vocals and a female voice. So the differences below come almost entirely from the lyric language and from chance.
Inside the sample songs
“Đêm Hội Pháo Hoa” is the longer, busier one: 12 sections, 123 bars, 230 seconds. A 17-bar intro, 16-bar verses, a 6-bar pre-chorus leading into an 8-bar chorus, and an 8-bar interlude after each chorus. Its loop Fm Db Eb cycles three chords (i-VI-VII) at 1.14 chords per bar.
“Festival Lights” carries the same prompt but has no pre-chorus at all, even though “Build up before the chorus” is still in its prompt. Instead it gets a 12-bar bridge and a doubled 16-bar final chorus. Its loop Fm Db Ab Eb adds the third degree (Ab) for a four-chord cycle, exactly one chord per bar (0.99). It is shorter: 104 bars, 194 seconds.
What they share: choruses usually last only 8 to 10 bars, about 15 to 19 seconds, and both songs have 8-bar instrumental interludes, exactly where a dance track would let the instruments take over. MuziAI has not measured whether those sections actually land as a drop in the audio.
How to get a better song
- Keep the lyrics short. At 128 BPM a 16-bar verse is only about 30 seconds and an 8-bar chorus about 15. An EDM chorus can be a few repeated words.
- If you want a guaranteed build, remember that “Build up before the chorus” is only a hint: in the samples it produced a pre-chorus in one song out of two. It is worth writing a short [Pre-Chorus] straight into the lyrics and leaving [Interlude] empty for the instrumental parts.
- Pick the chord loop by sample. For a four-chord loop, play “Festival Lights” and use “Sing new lyrics to this sheet”; for a tighter three-chord loop, borrow the sheet of “Đêm Hội Pháo Hoa”.
- Need background music without vocals? The Instrumental tab works with EDM; the sheet is composed as if for a vocal song and the vocal melody is then moved to instruments, so no human voice remains.
- Male voice: available, but there is no male EDM sample to preview yet. In MuziAI's voice style tests, “High, bright” was the highest of the male styles.
Limits
Both songs share voice, key and settings, so this is close to two draws from a single recipe, and two is a very small sample. We don't yet know how EDM behaves in another key, with a male voice or away from 128 BPM. The figures come from the sheet music, so they say nothing about how hard the drop hits, how the synths sound or how steady the kick is in the audio. Listen in the sample library before you create your own.
